In today's families, both parents work, making afterschool programs critical during the school year and particularly during the summer. For children from kindergarten through sixth grade, Laurel Oak Kids offers what parents are looking for - additional learning time, supervised activities and a fun, safe environment.

By meeting with parents, our teachers can determine what each child requires afterschool. An older child may need more help to complete homework assignments, or a younger child may need special tutoring in reading or math. Our teachers understand that after a busy day at school, children need time to play.

During the summer months, Laurel Oak Kids provides a summer program. The children participate in structured activities, free play, outside play, and field trips.

Our children attend Friendship Elementary, Wallburg Elementary, and Ledford Middle which are part of the Davidson County School System.
